Child Protection

Child Protection is an area that Tennis Scotland takes extremely seriously - it is vital the children and vulnerable adults are able to participate in an enjoyable and safe envrionment and be protected from abuse. This page has been set up as an information resource for all Tennis providers be they Clubs, Coaches, Officials, Schools, Volunteers. It will be updated regularly as more information becomes available. Tennis Scotland works closely with the Lawn Tennis Association, Sportscotland, Children 1st and other organisations to ensure that its policies and procedures are meeting the demands of this rapidly changing field.

A letter was sent to all affilliated clubs recently stressing the importance of having CLUB CHILD PROTECTION OFFICERS (CCPOs), and inviting all CCPOs to update Tennis Scotland with their details. The aim is to create a dedicated database to improve the levels of communication and training for these important individuals. CCPOs can also input their details here. All information given will be treated confidentially. click here - Club Child Protection Officers
